Golden Salad

Ingredients

  • Grab yourself 1/4 cup of cashews
  • soaked for a couple of hours
  • a roasted garlic clove (you can chuck it in the oven when you roast up any veggies for your salad)
  • lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric
  • 1/4 cup of coconut milk and if you have on hand
  • 1 tbsp of nutritional yeast ✨ Blitz everything in a blender until smooth
  • feel free to add a touch more liquid if need be
  • and get ready to DRIZZLE
  • DUNK AND DIP everything and anything ? I don’t agree with eating salads for salad sake
  • because you’re “trying to be good”. A salad can be a wonderful medley of your favourite ingredients
  • all muddled together to form one whole
  • nutritious meal. The KEY is to have your protein source
  • fat source
  • adequate greens
  • a slow releasing carbohydrate source and FUN EXTRAS. What’s your GO-TO dressing?? ?✨
