Stuffed Mushrooms with Beef and Feta
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 100 grams ground meat
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons sweet red pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sweet green pepper, chopped
- 100 grams feta cheese, crumbled
- 8 large mushrooms
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon flour
Preparation
Heat the oil in a small pot, add the ground meat and stir until dry, then add the onion and garlic and stir until wilted.
Add the mixed spices, salt, black pepper, sweet red pepper, and sweet green pepper, and stir until the peppers soften slightly, then remove from heat and add the feta cheese.
Clean the mushrooms with a clean cloth to remove dirt, remove the stems, and stuff the mushroom caps with the meat and cheese mixture. Place them in a baking dish.
In a cup, mix the lemon juice with the chicken broth and salt, and pour it over the mushrooms.
Preheat the oven to 180°C, bake the mushrooms for 15 minutes until cooked, and serve hot.
