Banana Peanut Butter Oats
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- salt to taste
Preparation
Add all ingredients to sauce pan, stir to combine and allow to cook and thicken for 5 minutes. I sautéed some diced apples until they were softened in cinnamon, 2 tsp maple syrup and a pinch of salt then added on top of the oats
For the apples, just chop one apple into cubes. Place in a pan with 2 tsp maple syrup, pinch of salt and pinch of cinnamon. Stir and sauté on low heat until maple syrup coats apples and apples slightly soften and brown
