Easy and Nutritious Fig Bars

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons tahini
  • 5 tablespoons agave nectar
  • a couple of pinches of salt
  • 10 small figs
  • 2 cups crushed walnuts
  • 1 cup crushed kamut puffs
  • 1/2 cup teff flour
  • optional: up to 2 tablespoons water

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together, adding a little water if needed to make mixing easier.

  2. Preheat the iron sheet or baking tray.

  3. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
