Lentilpasta

Ingredients

  • 1 tin lentils, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp oregano or mixed herbs
  • 1 veg stock cube, crushed
  • 400g tomato passata (or sub for chopped tomatoes)
  • A splash of plant milk

Preparation

  1. Fry the onion and pepper in a frying pan for five minutes

  2. Add the garlic and fry for another minute

  3. Add the lentils and fry for one more minute

  4. Add in all the spices and stir in

  5. Add the tomato passata and a splash of plant milk. Mix in and leave to simmer until the pasta/spaghetti is cooked or until the sauce has thickened
