Vegan Fry-Up with Tofu and Beans

Ingredients

  • a box of firm tofu
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • regular salt and pepper

Bean components

  • passata
  • chopped garlic
  • onion
  • paprika
  • cayenne pepper
  • maple syrup
  • butter beans

Preparation

  1. Mash a box of firm tofu.

  2. Add to a greased pan along with 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp black salt, salt, and pepper.

  3. Fry over low heat for 5 minutes.

  4. Combine passata, chopped garlic, onion, paprika, cayenne pepper, maple syrup, and butter beans in a pot.

  5. Stew the bean mixture for 20 minutes.
