Donuts

Ingredients

  • 1/4c vegan butter
  • 1/2c soy (I used almond) milk
  • 2tbsp of sunflower (I used veg) oil
  • 250g all purpose flour
  • 50g sugar
  • 1tsp of baking powder
  • 1/4tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Low-medium heat: melt 1/4c vegan butter

  2. Once melted, add in 1/2c soy (I used almond) milk and 2tbsp of sunflower (I used veg) oil

  3. Once combined, take off stove and let it cool off

  4. In another bowl, combine 250g all purpose flour, 50g sugar, 1tsp of baking powder, and 1/4tsp salt

  5. Once it’s combined, pour the cooled liquid ingredients gradually until you have a formed dough

  6. The texture should be like play-doh but a little skinny

  7. Heat oil and plop your donut babies in!! Watch for the color to turn golden brown (totally burnt my first one lol)

  8. After frying, let it soak in paper towels and cool off

  9. Plop in sugar or dip in chocolate and add sprinkles

  10. Devour

  11. Make another batch

  12. I made about 15 mini donuts, but tbh you could go ham and make giant ones
