Apple Crumble Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond meal
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 3/4 cup sweetener
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbs spices (I did a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg and all spice)
  • 1 apple (grated)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 apple
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbs apple sauce
  • 2 tbs rice malt syrup

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°c

  2. In a bowl add all your dry ingredients and mix together

  3. Add in wet ingredients and stir until combined but make sure not to over mix

  4. Pour into lined cake tin

  5. Cut up an apple into thing slices and place on top of cake

  6. Mix together crumble ingredients and crumble over the top of the bake

  7. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes or until cooked through

  8. Store in the fridge for up to a week

  9. I can tell you honestly that this is seriously so delicious and makes my tummy and soul so happy when i eat it

  10. I highly recommend heating it up before eating it and rolling with coconut yoghurt or vanilla ice cream ?
