Chickpea and Greenpea Burgers with Bulgur, Hummus, Spinach and Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 390g chickpeas
  • 260g green peas(defrosted)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 small red onion
  • parlsey
  • coriander
  • salt and pepper
  • 6tbsp all purpose flour
  • 50ml bread crumbs
  • 1tbsp cornstarch
  • oil to fry in

Preparation

  1. In a mixer add the chickpeas, green peas, garlic, onion, parlsey and coriander. Mix until smooth (but also allow for some larger pieces if you still want some texture. I.e it should not turn into a green hummus). Add the flour, bread crumbs and corn starch as well as the salt and pepper. Mix until a formable mixture has been made

  2. Add some oil to a frying pan. Form into patties and fry until golden brown on both sides
