Chocolate Pancakes
Ingredients
- whole wheat flour - 1 cup
- plant based milk- 1cup
- cinnamon powder- 1tsp
- vanillaextract- 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2tbsp ( you can add any sugar you have )
- baking powder- 1tbsp
- cacao powder- 2tbsp
- pinch of salt
Preparation
Take a medium size bowl add flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, salt, cacao powder, mix well. Pour soy milk and vanilla into the mixture and wisk well until a smooth batter forms
Scoop the batter onto the skillet to form small ( 3 -inch wide pancakes , or what ever size you prefer) filp when the bubbles start to form on the top of the pancakes , it takes 2 - 3 minutes. Cook on the other side until its nicely browned
Serve it with drizzle of maple syrup, chocolate sauce and fresh fruits
