Ingredients
- Potatoes
- Oil (up to 1 tbsp)
- Garlic powder (1 tsp)
- Italian seasoning or Cajun seasoning (to taste)
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon juice (optional, for serving)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Preparation
Chop potatoes into 3cm cubes. Wash and pat dry. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes to dry them out (this is the key to crispness).
In a bowl, toss the potatoes with a drizzle of oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning or Cajun seasoning (to taste). Season well with salt and pepper.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (392°F) for 5 minutes.
Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook at 200°C (392°F) for 10 minutes.
Shake the basket, stir the potatoes, and cook until they are golden and tender, 8 to 10 minutes more.
Optional: Squeeze lemon juice over the cooked potatoes and garnish with parsley before serving.
