Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Onion
  • 2 Large Tomatoes
  • 250 Gram Paneer, cut in cubes (if vegan use tofu)
  • 4-5 Cloves of Garlic
  • ~1 inch Ginger
  • 15-20 Cashews, soaked in water
  • 1 Tablespoon Cream (if vegan use non-dairy milk)
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter (if vegan use non-dairy butter)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2-3 Green Cardamoms ~1 Inch Stick of Cinnamon
  • 3-4 Cloves
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Coriander Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt or as per taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar or 1 Teaspoon Honey, optional
  • 1 Tablespoon Crushed Dry Fenugreek Leaves
