Tall Stack of Chocolate Pancakes

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Plant based milk - 1 cup (I used soy)
  • Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
  • Brown sugar - 2 tbsp (you can add any sugar you have)
  • Baking powder - 1 tbsp
  • Cacao powder - 2 tbsp
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Take a medium size bowl add Flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, salt, cacao powder, mix well

  2. Pour Soy milk and vanilla into the mixture and whisk well until a smooth batter forms

  3. Scoop the batter onto the skillet to form small pancakes (3-inch wide or preferred size). Flip when bubbles start to form on top, which takes 2-3 minutes. Cook on the other side until nicely browned

  4. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup, chocolate sauce, and fresh fruits
