Easy No Bake Chocolate Mousse Cake
Ingredients
Base
- 80 g soft dates
- 80 g oat flour
- water
Chocolate mousse
- 400 g silken tofu
- 160 g dark melted chocolate (vegan)
- a pinch of salt
Optional
- 2 tbsp cacao
- ~25 g coconut sugar or regular sugar
Chocolate sauce
- 1 tbsp date syrup
- 1 tsp cacao
- ~ 2 tbsp water
Preparation
Puree or mix the dates with a splash of warm water. It can be chunky. If the dates are really soft, you can use your hands to mix them with the oat flour to a dough. If they are a little hard, soak them in hot water for a few minutes. Press the oat-date dough into a small, round form.
Mix all ingredients for the mousse in a mixer until smooth, or use a whisk. Prepare the cake tin with some coconut oil and spread the mousse over the base. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Mix the sauce ingredients and spread it over the cake, serve and enjoy.
