Easy Vegan Oat Flour Waffles
Ingredients
- oat flour
- water or plant-based milk (as needed for batter consistency)
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- dash of cinnamon
- dash of salt
Toppings
- almond butter
- strawberries
- maple syrup
Preparation
Combine oat flour and water or plant-based milk to achieve a waffle batter consistency.
Add 2 tablespoons coconut sugar, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder, a dash of cinnamon, and a dash of salt to the mixture.
Use a non-stick waffle iron to cook the batter for 2-3 minutes until done.
Top the waffles with almond butter, strawberries, and maple syrup for serving.
