Easy Vegan Oat Flour Waffles

Ingredients

  • oat flour
  • water or plant-based milk (as needed for batter consistency)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of salt

Toppings

  • almond butter
  • strawberries
  • maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Combine oat flour and water or plant-based milk to achieve a waffle batter consistency.

  2. Add 2 tablespoons coconut sugar, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder, a dash of cinnamon, and a dash of salt to the mixture.

  3. Use a non-stick waffle iron to cook the batter for 2-3 minutes until done.

  4. Top the waffles with almond butter, strawberries, and maple syrup for serving.
