Mango Kalakand Barfee

Ingredients

  • mango puree - 1 cup
  • paneer (crumbled) -1cup
  • condensed milk / milk powder - 3/4cup
  • elaichi powder - 1/2tsp
  • almonds•badam - 4 tbsp (sliced) (optional)
  • saffron•kesar - 1pinch (optional)
  • recipe -
  • in a heavy bottomed pan, combine mango puree, condensed /milk powder and paneer, and start to heat on a medium flame.
  • continuously stir the mixture.
  • add elaichi powder, almonds and saffron to the mixture, after 5-10 minutes, and continue stirring.
  • keep stirring until the mixture has become one third of its quantity and leaves the pan on it's own.
  • grease a flat bowl/ mould with ghee. press the mixture into it and refrigerate for 2 hours when it comes to room temperature.
  • cut and enjoyyyy ✨
