Baked Garlic Baguette with Fresh Herbs

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 125g plant-based butter
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 3 teaspoons chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Chop chives into tiny pieces

  2. Press garlic

  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees

  4. Cut the baguette in half

  5. Mix the vegan butter, garlic, basil, chives and salt together in a bowl

  6. Spread inside the cut baguette on both sides of the bread

  7. Add more butter to the top of the bread

  8. Wrap the loaves in tinfoil

  9. Bake for 15 minutes

  10. Take out of tinfoil, switch to grill air

  11. Bake 10-15 more minutes
