Tomato and Olive Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • One baguette slices
  • About 5 tomatoes, chopped
  • About 1/2 cup of green olives, pitted and chopped (or to taste)
  • Huge handful of fresh basil, thinly sliced
  • Splash of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, green olives, sliced basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Gently mix all the ingredients together.

  2. Take baguette slices and place a scoop of the tomato and olive mixture on top of each slice.

  3. Serve as an appetizer or alongside soups and stews.
