Fresh Homemade Tomato Salsa with Cilantro
Ingredients
- Tomatoes
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Mustard seeds
- Water
- Cilantro
Preparation
In a pot, add some water and the tomatoes. Use whole tomatoes, just enough to submerge them.
Let the pot simmer on a low flame for a few minutes until the tomatoes are well cooked. Turn off the gas and let it stand until it’s cool.
Add the tomatoes to the blender and blend them with some cilantro and salt.
In a pan, add some oil. After the oil warms up, add mustard seeds and then add the blended tomato mixture.
Store it in an airtight jar in the fridge and enjoy with chips, roti or bread.
