Blue Spirulina Smoothie with Banana and Pineapple
Ingredients
- 3 frozen bananas
- few pieces of pineapple
- 1 avocado
- 1 teaspoon spirulina
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon manuka honey
- cashews and almonds (soaked overnight)
- chia seeds (soaked in coconut water overnight)
- organic probiotic yogurt
- almond milk
- granola
Preparation
Soak cashews and almonds overnight, and separately soak chia seeds in coconut water overnight.
Blend the soaked nuts one by one to achieve a smooth consistency.
Mix the frozen bananas, pineapple pieces, avocado, spirulina, cinnamon powder, and manuka honey together.
Combine the mixture with organic probiotic yogurt and almond milk to form the smoothie base.
Add granola to the smoothie while serving, and enjoy your breakfast.
Note that the blue color comes from spirulina; if it's not blue enough, ask for a vegetable-based alternative method.
