Ibiza Layered Oat Biscuit Dessert
Ingredients
Biscuit base
- 400 grams oat biscuits
- 3 tablespoons butter
Chocolate pudding
- 1 liter milk
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 80 grams dark chocolate
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Whipped cream layer
- 1 cup milk
- 1 packet whipped cream topping
Fruits
- Bananas
- Strawberries
Preparation
Melt the butter and mix it with the crushed oat biscuits.
Combine milk, flour, cornstarch, sugar, egg, and cocoa powder in a pot and cook over heat until it thickens to a pudding consistency.
Remove from heat, add dark chocolate and butter or margarine, stir quickly, and let it cool slightly.
Mix milk with whipped cream topping until fluffy.
Layer the biscuit mixture, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and sliced fruits to assemble the dessert.
Tips
If the whipped cream topping does not whip easily, add a second packet if needed.
For an alternative, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar instead of using whipped cream topping.
