Breakfast Smoothie with Brazil Nut Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • half a punnet of strawberries
  • 2 dates
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1/2 tbsp cacao

Nut butter

  • 250g Brazil nuts
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Blend 2 bananas with about half a punnet of strawberries, 2 dates, juice of 1 orange, and 1/2 tbsp cacao to make the smoothie.

Method

  1. Toast 250g Brazil nuts in the oven at 200C for about 5 minutes.

  2. Once cooled, blend on the nut setting until runny.

  3. Add 1 tsp salt near the end.
