Crunchy Lebanese Falafel
Ingredients
- 350g chickpeas (cooked)
- 1ts cumin
- 1 handfull cilantro
- 1 handfull parsley
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2tb flour
- 2ts baking powder
- 1 liter plantoil
- Salt and pepper
- To serve:
- Pita bread
- Salad leaves
- Hummus and tahini
- Veggies of your choice
Preparation
Chop onion and garlic and fry in a bit of oil
Place in a mixer with the rest of the ingredients (besides the oil)
Puree until smooth
Add more flour if needed
Give oil in a pot and let it get really hot
Dont add falafel before the oil isnt completely hot)
Form little balls out of the dough and fry the falafels
Serve with hummus in a pita, salad and veggies of your choice
