Crunchy Lebanese Falafel

Ingredients

  • 350g chickpeas (cooked)⁣
  • 1ts cumin⁣
  • 1 handfull cilantro⁣
  • 1 handfull parsley⁣
  • 1 onion⁣
  • 2 garlic cloves⁣
  • 2tb flour⁣
  • 2ts baking powder⁣
  • 1 liter plantoil⁣
  • Salt and pepper⁣
  • To serve:⁣
  • Pita bread⁣
  • Salad leaves⁣
  • Hummus and tahini⁣
  • Veggies of your choice⁣

Preparation

  1. Chop onion and garlic and fry in a bit of oil⁣

  2. Place in a mixer with the rest of the ingredients (besides the oil)⁣

  3. Puree until smooth⁣

  4. Add more flour if needed⁣

  5. Give oil in a pot and let it get really hot⁣

  6. Dont add falafel before the oil isnt completely hot) ⁣

  7. Form little balls out of the dough and fry the falafels⁣

  8. Serve with hummus in a pita, salad and veggies of your choice⁣
