Healthy Banana Bread Skillet with Almond Flour

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas + 1–2 extra if decorating the top
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons coconut nectar (agave nectar, honey or maple syrup works)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup blanched almond flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together.

  2. Grease an oven-proof skillet with coconut oil.

  3. Place the mixture in the skillet.

  4. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.

  5. Optionally add nuts or chocolate chips before baking.

  6. Sprinkle a little bit of coconut flakes on top if desired.
