Vegan Black Bean Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked quinoa
  • 1 1/2 cups of veggie broth
  • 15 oz can black beans
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pinch of black pepper
  • Cooking spray for the pan
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms

Preparation

  1. Mash the black beans in a large bowl.

  2. Add the cooked quinoa, veggie broth, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and mushrooms; mix until well combined.

  3. Form the mixture into patties.

  4. Heat a pan with cooking spray over medium heat and cook the patties until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
