Festive Platter with Homemade Hummus
Ingredients
- leftover festive fruits
- crackers
- nuts
- pretzels
- hummus (can be homemade)
- olives
- dips
- leftover veggies
Hummus
- 1 cup of chick peas, dry soaked for at least a few hours
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of tahini
- 1/4 cup of neutral oil or water
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of onion powder
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp of coriander paste
Preparation
Assemble the platter by throwing together leftover festive fruits, crackers, nuts, pretzels, hummus, olives, dips, and leftover veggies.
Finish with plant-based cheese or other desired toppings.
Hummus
Blend all hummus ingredients in a blender for a minute, pausing halfway to scrape down the sides.
Transfer to a serving dish and top with fresh herbs, a drizzle of olive oil, or your favorite spice.
