Healthy Dairy-Free Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 4-6 frozen bananas
  • 1-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 8 pitted dates
  • 1/4-1/2 cup non-dairy milk (almond, soy, oat, or preferred)

Preparation

  1. Freeze the bananas after peeling them for at least 3 hours or overnight.

  2. Add the frozen bananas, pitted dates, vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup of non-dairy milk to a high-speed blender or food processor.

  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if necessary to facilitate blending.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 3-5 hours or overnight before serving.

Tips

  1. Using more bananas will result in a larger batch of ice cream.

  2. This ice cream is naturally sweetened with fruit and is dairy-free.
