Healthy Dairy-Free Banana Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 4-6 frozen bananas
- 1-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 8 pitted dates
- 1/4-1/2 cup non-dairy milk (almond, soy, oat, or preferred)
Preparation
Freeze the bananas after peeling them for at least 3 hours or overnight.
Add the frozen bananas, pitted dates, vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup of non-dairy milk to a high-speed blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if necessary to facilitate blending.
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 3-5 hours or overnight before serving.
Tips
Using more bananas will result in a larger batch of ice cream.
This ice cream is naturally sweetened with fruit and is dairy-free.
