Sprouted Horsegram Rotti with Moringa
Ingredients
- Overnight soaked horsegram or horsegram sprouts
- Green chillies
- Fresh coconut
- Asafoetida
- Ginger
- Salt
- Chopped scallions
- Fresh moringa
Optional additions
- Rice flour or other grain flour
Preparation
Grind the overnight soaked horsegram or horsegram sprouts with green chillies, fresh coconut, asafoetida, ginger, and salt.
Add chopped scallions and fresh moringa to the ground mixture.
Optionally, add rice flour or other grain flour for added crispness.
Pat the mixture into flat rottis.
Cook the rottis on a hot griddle until golden brown.
Tips
This rotti provides high protein, with about 9-11 grams per serving.
