Indian-Style Sautéed Broccolini
Ingredients
- 1 bunch broccolini
- 4 tablespoons mustard oil
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 2 pinches asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon mango powder or 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation
Heat mustard oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, salt, and red chilli powder, and mix well.
Add the broccolini and mix thoroughly.
Cook for 5 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
Once half done, add mango powder.
Serving suggestions
Serve as a salad, over rice, or with roti or parathas.
Add nuts of your choice when serving if desired.
