Vegan Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

Filling

  • 200g vegan butter
  • 0.5 cups organic cane sugar
  • 0.1 cups Ceylon cinnamon
  • 4 organic apples

Dough

  • 150g vegan butter
  • 0.8 cups boiling water
  • 1.2 cups cold oat milk
  • 50g fresh yeast
  • 0.4 cups organic cane sugar
  • 5-6.3 cups wheat flour
  • 0.5 tsp Himalayan salt

Preparation

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm oat milk and water mixture, then mix with sugar, salt, and flour to form dough; knead until smooth and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour

  2. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, sugar, and cinnamon; peel, core, and chop apples, then fold into the mixture or cook briefly if needed

  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling evenly, roll up tightly, and cut into individual rolls

  4. Place rolls in a greased baking pan, let rise for another 30-45 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
