Spiced Butternut Squash Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen cubed butternut squash
- 1/2 small or 1/3 large frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 2 tablespoons plant-based yogurt
- 1/2 cup almond milk or oat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric or turmeric tonic
- 1/4 teaspoon organic cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon organic cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon reishi (optional)
- 1/4 inch fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
Toppings
- maple grain-free granola
- coconut chips
- rose petals
- tupelo honey
Preparation
If not using store-bought frozen squash, steam and freeze butternut squash cubes.
Blend all ingredients until combined.
Top the smoothie with granola, coconut chips, rose petals, and honey.
