Spiced Butternut Squash Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen cubed butternut squash
  • 1/2 small or 1/3 large frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons plant-based yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or oat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric or turmeric tonic
  • 1/4 teaspoon organic cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon organic cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon reishi (optional)
  • 1/4 inch fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed

Toppings

  • maple grain-free granola
  • coconut chips
  • rose petals
  • tupelo honey

Preparation

  1. If not using store-bought frozen squash, steam and freeze butternut squash cubes.

  2. Blend all ingredients until combined.

  3. Top the smoothie with granola, coconut chips, rose petals, and honey.
