Asian-Style Stir Fried Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 head of sweetheart/hispi cabbage
- 1 tbsp oil for stir frying
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 mild red chilli, skip if not into spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce, sub with 2 tbsp light soy sauce and 1/2 tsp of granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
Preparation
Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and chili, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the cabbage and salt, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
Stir in the sesame oil, sweet soy sauce, and vegan oyster sauce.
Continue stir-frying for 1-2 minutes until the cabbage is tender-crisp and well-coated.
Serve immediately.
