Homemade Prawn and Veggie Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 40 ready-made dumpling wrappers
  • 150g prawns or shiitake mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Soy sauce to taste
  • 2 large handfuls of baby spinach, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Preparation

  1. Fry the spring onions in the sesame oil.

  2. Add garlic, ginger, and prawns.

  3. Season with soy sauce and pan fry for a few minutes.

  4. Stir in the spinach to wilt it slightly.

  5. Fill the mixture into dumpling wrappers and fold them.

  6. Steam or pan fry the dumplings as desired.
