Cacao Smoothie with Banana and Avocado

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • A small chunk of fresh ginger
  • 1 date
  • 1 to 2 tbsp of milled flaxseed
  • 1 heaped tbsp of cacao powder
  • 1 tsp of almond butter
  • Coconut milk

Preparation

  1. Add all the dry ingredients to a high-powered blender.

  2. Pour over the coconut milk.

  3. Leave to soak for about 20 minutes if you have time.

  4. Blend until smooth.

  5. Serve with an apple for added crunch if desired.
