Chocolate Shell Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 60g (2/3 cup/2oz) oats
  • 10 tbsp boiling water
  • 2 tbsp low-fat plain or vanilla yogurt (or milk as an alternative)
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 1 tbsp sweetener of choice
  • A few chunks of chocolate

Preparation

  1. Boil water and pour it over the oats in a bowl. Stir and let it sit for a couple of minutes to thicken.

  2. Once the oats have thickened, stir in all the other ingredients except for the chocolate.

  3. Pour the mixture into an empty jar or container with a lid.

  4. Melt the chocolate in a cup in the microwave for 1 minute or on the stovetop.

  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate on top of the oats.

  6. Cover the jar or container with a lid and place it in the fridge overnight.

  7. The next morning, take it out of the fridge and enjoy!
