Baked Golden Beets with Herbs and Spices

Ingredients

  • 3-4 beets
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Sea salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F

  2. Wash beets well and do not peel

  3. Cut beets in halves or quarters if large

  4. Place beets in a glass casserole dish and pour water into the dish

  5. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, rosemary, and sage

  6. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until tender
