Creamy Caramel Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 4 soft medjool dates, mashed
  • 2 cups unsweetened fortified almond milk
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cinnamon stick or 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of cardamom

Preparation

  1. In a pot, add oats, mashed medjool dates, almond milk, cinnamon stick, salt, and cardamom.

  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir frequently to prevent burning.

  3. Once the oatmeal has thickened, remove it from heat.

  4. Stir in the plant-based yogurt and hemp hearts, ensuring they are well combined.

  5. Serve the creamy caramel oatmeal and top it with mango, almond butter, extra berries, and hemp hearts.
