Creamy Caramel Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 4 soft medjool dates, mashed
- 2 cups unsweetened fortified almond milk
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- 1/4 cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cinnamon stick or 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of cardamom
Preparation
In a pot, add oats, mashed medjool dates, almond milk, cinnamon stick, salt, and cardamom.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir frequently to prevent burning.
Once the oatmeal has thickened, remove it from heat.
Stir in the plant-based yogurt and hemp hearts, ensuring they are well combined.
Serve the creamy caramel oatmeal and top it with mango, almond butter, extra berries, and hemp hearts.
