Crispy Gingerbread Waffles for a Festive Treat
Ingredients
- 400g flour
- 160g sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pack vanilla sugar
- 3 tsp gingerbread spice
- 80ml sparkling water
- 400ml plant-based milk
- 2 tbsp plant-based butter (plus more for greasing the waffle iron)
- Vanilla ice cream, syrup, fruit (for toppings)
Preparation
Preheat the waffle iron.
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well.
Grease the waffle iron with plant-based butter.
Cook the waffles in the preheated waffle iron until golden and crispy.
Serve the gingerbread waffles with plant-based ice cream, vanilla sauce, or maple syrup as desired.
