Double Chocolate Baked Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1 tbsp. cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp. chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 egg

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small oven-safe bowl.

  2. In a blender, combine the oats, cacao powder, baking powder, maple syrup, almond milk, 2 tbsp. chocolate chips, and egg. Blend until smooth.

  3. Stir in an additional 1 tbsp. of chocolate chips into the batter.

  4. Pour the batter into the greased bowl, and top with the remaining 1 tbsp. of chocolate chips.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the baked oats are cooked through and have a fluffy texture.

  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
