Homemade Strawberry Jam with Maple Syrup and Lemon
Ingredients
- 1 punnet of cut strawberries
- 3.5 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of tapioca flour or corn flour
Preparation
Place your cut strawberries, and maple syrup in a pan. Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
Remove from stove and use a stick blender to make the fruit smooth.
In a bowl add your lemon juice and tapioca flour and mix, then added to your cooked jam.
Place the pan back on the stove and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
Turn the stove off and let it cool down.
Once cooled place the cooked jam in a sterilised jar and let it cool then refrigerate
