Sunflower Microgreens
Ingredients
- 2 tsp lucuma powder⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 5 small bananas⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 cups blueberries & strawberries⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1/2 tbsp chia⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1.5 cups water⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1.5 cups water
Preparation
Blended to perfection & topped with a sprinkle of coconut flakes & sunflower microgreens. I cut the microgreens with scissors to make them easier to chew & had more on the side than shown in this picture.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

They are high in B vitamins, especially folate. Folate is a necessary B vitamin for pregnant women. Folate helps to protect babies from developing neural tube defects (NTDs). The combination of B vitamins also assists in the mother’s circulation & aids in stress relief
