Sunflower Microgreens

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp lucuma powder⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 5 small bananas⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 2 cups blueberries & strawberries⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1/2 tbsp chia⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1.5 cups water⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1.5 cups water

Preparation

  1. Blended to perfection & topped with a sprinkle of coconut flakes & sunflower microgreens. I cut the microgreens with scissors to make them easier to chew & had more on the side than shown in this picture.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  2. Sunflower microgreen are a perfect source of complete protein, helping to repair muscle tissue & aid in enzymatic functions in the body. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  5. They are high in B vitamins, especially folate. Folate is a necessary B vitamin for pregnant women. Folate helps to protect babies from developing neural tube defects (NTDs). The combination of B vitamins also assists in the mother’s circulation & aids in stress relief
