Yorkshire Pudding


  • 80 g of gluten free all purpose flour (1/2 cup)
  • 125 g of half and half cream (1/2 cup +2 tablespoons)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Put flour and salt in a bowl and make a well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  2. Break the egg into it and beat with a wooden spoon, while gradually adding the cream

  3. Mix this up at least an hour before baking)

  4. Heat the oven to 475°F

  5. Add 1 teaspoon of high temperature oil or beef drippings from the roast, to the 12 parts of the pan ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  6. Heat the oil in the oven until it is smoking hot and sizzling

  7. Bake Yorkshires at 475°F for 10 to 12 minutes
