Baked Vegan Donuts with Natural Decorations
Ingredients
Dry
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup vegan sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Wet
- 3/4 cup non-dairy milk
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup applesauce
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
Whisk together the dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, add the wet ingredients and whisk until combined.
Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a donut pan.
Bake for 13-15 minutes.
Top with homemade vegan fondant made with agar agar instead of gelatin, modeling chocolate, and frosting colored with natural ingredients like blue spirulina, beetroot, pink pitaya, and more.
