Cinnamon Roll Baked Oats

Ingredients

  • 50g oats
  • 40g low-fat vanilla yoghurt (plus extra for serving)
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sweetener (or sugar or maple syrup)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • plus flour for dusting the surface

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180c/ 350f/ gas mark 4

  2. Blend the oats to a powder

  3. Put the blended oats, yoghurt and baking powder into a bowl and mix

  4. Dust a surface and roll out the sticky mixture with your hands

  5. It will be very sticky but the flour will reduce the stickiness and help you shape it into a flat sausage shape

  6. Sprinkle over the sweetener and cinnamon, roll up and slice into four to five pieces

  7. Oven bake for five minutes

  8. Serve straight away with extra yoghurt and a drizzle of maple syrup (optional)
