Cinnamon Roll Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 50g oats
- 40g low-fat vanilla yoghurt (plus extra for serving)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sweetener (or sugar or maple syrup)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- plus flour for dusting the surface
Preparation
Pre-heat the oven to 180c/ 350f/ gas mark 4
Blend the oats to a powder
Put the blended oats, yoghurt and baking powder into a bowl and mix
Dust a surface and roll out the sticky mixture with your hands
It will be very sticky but the flour will reduce the stickiness and help you shape it into a flat sausage shape
Sprinkle over the sweetener and cinnamon, roll up and slice into four to five pieces
Oven bake for five minutes
Serve straight away with extra yoghurt and a drizzle of maple syrup (optional)
