Crunchy Peanut Butter Waffles with Dark Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 Adonis Peanut Butter & Cocoa bar
  • 110g/1 cup oats
  • 160g/1 cup plain flour (gluten-free if needed)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 330ml /1 & 1/2 cups unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • Coconut oil (for brushing waffle maker)

Preparation

  1. Heat and oil the waffle iron.

  2. Put all the ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until the mixture becomes smooth and thick.

  3. Carefully pour the mixture into the center of the waffle iron, smoothing evenly into the edges.

  4. Close the waffle iron and cook for 6 minutes – do not open the waffle maker before this time is complete.

  5. Drizzle the waffles with melted dark chocolate and scatter with chunks of Adonis Peanut Butter & Cocoa bar.
