Purple Berry Waffles

Ingredients

  • 50g butter or margarine, softened
  • 40g powdered sugar
  • 75g unsweetened almond drink
  • 1 Vegan egg with egg substitute powder mixed in water
  • 1 tsp Unicorn Superfoods Acai Berry Powder, dissolved in milk
  • 150g spelt flour or regular flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar

Preparation

  1. In a food processor or mixer, blend the softened vegan butter with powdered sugar until well combined.

  2. Add the egg replacement, almond drink, and dissolved acai berry powder. Mix the batter thoroughly.

  3. Gradually add the spelt flour and vanilla sugar to the batter. Continue to beat until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  4. Turn on the waffle croissant maker and allow it to heat up.

  5. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of the batter onto the center of the baking surface in the waffle croissant maker.

  6. Close the iron and bake the waffle until it is cooked and golden brown.

  7. Once the waffle is done, let it cool down or shape it into the desired form while it's still warm.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
