Vegan Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 large apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Around 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup

Toppings

  • Toppings of your choice

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except toppings in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Stir occasionally and cook until the oatmeal is creamy and the apple is tender, about 5-10 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and let it rest for 1 minute.

  4. Serve in a bowl and add desired toppings.
