Vegan Gluten Free French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dairy free milk
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • dash of salt

Preparation

  1. To a large bowl, add the milk, flax, corn starch, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Mix it well and let it sit for a few minutes.

  2. Slice your bread and dip each slice into the mixture, ensuring it is fully covered. Let it sit for ten seconds on each side.

  3. Grease your pan with coconut oil and cook each piece of French toast for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  4. This recipe makes about 6 slices of toast.

  5. Once cooked, top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries and enjoy.
