Chickpea Almond Butter & Tahini Blondies

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup date syrup can increase as needed i thought this tasted perfect and i prefer to keep lower sugar
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4- 1 cup non-dairy chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in food processor or blender until smooth. Stop and scrape sides as needed

  2. Once smoothe, combine chocolate chips and walnuts and stir

  3. Place in parchment lined or greased 8x8 pan and bake 350 for 30 minutes. Do the trusty toothpick test
