Oat Milk

Ingredients

  • •1 cup rolled oats
  • •3.5 cups water
  • •1 pitted date
  • •1 pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Blend all together for ~1 min on high until mostly blended (apparently blending too long will result in it being slimy, so don’t over-blend!)

  2. Check taste with a spoon and decide if you need to add another date (or vanilla extract or stevia) for sweetness. (Tasted fine to me!)

  3. Pour mixture (slowly) over a large bowl covered in cheese cloth to catch all the pulp

  4. Store in mason jar in fridge
