Homemade Oat Milk with Easy Preparation

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3.5 cups water
  • 1 pitted date
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients together for about 1 minute on high until mostly blended, but do not over-blend to avoid sliminess.

  2. Check the taste with a spoon and add another date, vanilla extract, or stevia if needed for sweetness.

  3. Slowly pour the mixture over a large bowl covered with cheese cloth to strain the pulp.

  4. Store the oat milk in a mason jar in the refrigerator.
